The California Raptor Center will be closed on Monday 7/4 for Independence Day (a university holiday)
Injured birds can be brought to the Small Animal Clinic at the UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital

Adopt-A-Bird

If you'd like to donate in honor of a specific bird, simply select one of our resident birds and click on the "Adopt" link on the top of their profile, or visit the Adopt-A-Bird donation page.

You will receive an Adopt-A-Bird packet, which includes:

  • A certificate of adoption
  • 2 glossy photos of the "adopted" bird
  • Your "adopted" bird's story and a sheet with species information

Your gift provides operational support to the California Raptor Center, allowing staff and volunteers to provide care and rehabilitation to injured or orphaned raptors.

Small Raptor - $75

For a $75 contribution you may symbolically "adopt" one of the following:

Large Raptor - $100

For a $100 contribution you may symbolically "adopt" one of the following:

Eagle - $150

For a $150 contribution you may symbolically "adopt" one of the following:

Nursery - $200

For a $200 contribution you may symbolically "adopt" the Raptor Nursery

"Three Raptor Package" - $300

For a $300 contribution you may symbolically "adopt" a three raptor package (small and large raptor, plus an eagle). 

"Owl Silo" - $400

For a $400 contribution you may symbolically "adopt" a multi-owl package, the "Owl Silo" Great Horned Owl exhibit at the front of the California Raptor Center.
