Standard Raptor Program

  • $125
  • 45 minutes
  • Recommended for 2nd grade and up

In this virtual live encounter, you will meet 2-3 of the California Raptor Center’s ambassador birds while learning about raptor biology. In addition to getting an intimate look at birds of prey, you will have opportunities to ask our education specialist any questions you may have.

Presentation topics can be tailored to your group's specific interests. Areas of focus include: general raptor biology, specific types of raptors, wildlife rehabilitation, raptor ecology, and raptor conservation.

"Little" Raptor Program

  • $75
  • 15-30 minutes
  • Recommended for Pre-K through 2nd grade

This program is best for younger audiences. Meet 1-2 of the CRC's educational ambassador birds in a shorter, simplified version of the Standard Raptor Program.

As with the Standard Raptor Program, topics can be tailored to your group's specific interests.

  • $50
  • 15 minutes
  • All ages

Want to meet one of our ambassadors? In these personal encounters, you can learn all about one of our ambassador birds while meeting them "up close" on Zoom and having your questions answered by one of our educators. Choose from Grasshopper, Whistler, Forrest, Jack, Luna, or Phoenix.

Please note that our Education Office is primarily staffed by volunteers and receives a high volume of program requests. It may take several days to receive a response to your inquiry. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
